Along with Hon La Economic Zone, Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park is also considered one of the two growth drivers of Quang Binh province in the period of 2021-2030.
Quang Binh Department of Tourism said that the goal of Quang Binh tourism is that by 2030, Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Tourist Area will become a national and international tourism center, with a synchronous and modern infrastructure system; diverse and high-quality products.

According to the Quang Binh Department of Tourism, to realize this goal, the Quang Binh tourism industry will continue to promote the development of specific tourism products based on the typical, distinct, and unique advantages of Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park that have been recognized.
Accordingly, the main tourism products include: cave system tours (Thien Duong Cave, Phong Nha Cave, Tien Son Cave, Toi Cave, etc.); cave exploration tours (Son Doong Cave, En Cave, Vom Cave system, Va Cave - Nuoc Nut Cave, Sinh Ton Valley, Thuy Cung Cave, etc.); experiential tourism associated with the forest ecosystem (visiting and admiring the scenery of Chay River, Gao Forest, Gio Waterfall, Mo Waterfall, Primate Rescue Center, Botanical Garden, Nuoc Mooc Ecological Route, etc.); revolutionary history tourism: Hang Tam Thanh Nien Xung Phong (Hang Tam Co), Xuan Son ferry, Khe Gat airport, Nguyen Van Troi ferry, historical sites on Provincial Road 562 and the legendary Ho Chi Minh road system...
In addition, an indispensable product is community tourism: Learning about the culture of the Arem, Ruc, Bru, Van Kieu ethnic groups... Resort tourism at large lakes such as Khe Ngang, Bong Lai... And additional tourism products such as: Hiking, cycling along trails, sports, entertainment, swimming, boating on the river, tourism associated with festivals such as: Boat racing, Grass carp competition on Son River, Ma Coong drum beating festival.

Secretary of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee, Mr. Vu Dai Thang, said that in the coming time, Quang Binh province will continue to call for and attract foreign direct investment (FDI) into the province, especially in areas where the province has strengths, including tourism, including Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park.
"Quang Binh province will invite world-class adventure tourism investors to exploit and promote the advantages of Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park. From there, the number of visitors to Phong Nha - Ke Bang will increase, not only domestic visitors but also international visitors", Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Vu Dai Thang emphasized.
It is known that Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park and the buffer zone (including Bo Trach district) are currently 1 of 4 dynamic tourism growth centers of Quang Binh province. And in the Quang Binh Provincial Planning for the period 2021 - 2023, with a vision to 2050, Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Tourist Area is oriented to become a regional-class tourist center in Southeast Asia, and this is also considered one of the two growth driving centers of Quang Binh province for the period 2021 - 2030 - next to Hon La Economic Zone.
